AI sales agent approvals in Slack and WhatsApp.
Gen-X AI sales agents ask before they send an email, a LinkedIn message or a post. Approve from Gen-X, a Slack thread or WhatsApp by replying in plain words or reacting with a thumbs up.
Drafted 14 follow-ups, each mentioning the feature they tried. Send all 14 now?
Sent 14 follow-ups. Dan is copied on the two agency emails.
The agents that ask before they act
Every agent that sends, books or updates something asks first in Draft Mode, in the place you started the work.
Campaign Manager
Outbound campaigns“Start a 3-step sequence for the webinar list.”
Inbox Manager
Email and messaging“Reply to everyone who asked about pricing.”
LinkedIn Assistant
LinkedIn outreach“Send a personal note to the 20 people we met at the expo.”
Social Assistant

Gen-X
Team lead“Plan next week’s outbound and split it across the team.”
What the agents ask before doing
Draft Mode turns every send into a question in the chat you are already in.
Emails wait for a yes
Campaign Manager asks before a sequence goes out and before each batch is sent.
LinkedIn on your terms
Connection requests, messages and comments from your account are drafted first and sent after you approve.
Replies and meetings
Replies to prospects and booked meetings go out once you agree with the wording and the time.
Posts asked one by one
Every post is asked separately, so a publish never rides along with another approval.
Answers in your own words
Approve, reject or ask for changes in plain words. The agent checks that your reply covers the exact action before it acts.
A record of every yes
Every request, answer and action stays in the thread, so you can see who approved what.

Where the approval happens
Most AI SDR tools hold drafts in a review queue inside their app. Gen-X asks in the conversation, so you can approve from wherever you are.
| What matters | Approval cards in a dashboard | Gen-X approvals |
|---|---|---|
| Where you approve | A review queue you open in the tool. | In the Gen-X chat, or in Slack or WhatsApp when you started the task there. |
| How you approve | Approve and reject buttons, one draft at a time. | Reply in words: "send it", "yes, but cc Dana" or "do them all". Or react with a thumbs up or thumbs down. |
| Changes | Open the draft and edit it by hand. | Say what to change in your reply. The agent redrafts and sends the version you approved. |
| How much runs alone | Usually one autopilot switch for the whole account. | Read Only, Draft Mode or Full Auto, set per chat. |
How AI sales agent approvals work in Gen-X
AI sales agents are useful because they act: they send the email, connect on LinkedIn, book the meeting. That is also why most teams want a say before anything leaves their name. The usual answer is an approval queue inside the tool, which only works while someone keeps the tool open.
Gen-X puts the approval in the conversation. Each chat runs in one of three access modes. Read Only lets the agents read and report. Draft Mode makes them ask before they send, book, update or spend. Full Auto lets them act on their own. New chats start in Draft Mode.
When an agent needs a yes, it asks where you gave it the work. Start a task in the Gen-X chat and the request appears there. Start it from a Slack thread and the request is posted in that thread. Start it from WhatsApp with /genx and the request arrives in that chat.
You answer the way you would answer a colleague. "Send it" approves. "Yes, but cc Dana" approves with a change. "Do them all" approves a whole batch. A thumbs up or thumbs down on the request works too. Only the person who owns the task can approve it, and every request and answer stays in the thread.
Some actions are always asked one at a time, even later on: publishing a social post, sending a WhatsApp message and changing ads. Deleting is never automatic. That keeps the riskiest actions in front of a person while the routine work moves quickly.
Questions
Is there an AI sales agent that lets me approve messages from Slack or WhatsApp?
Yes. Gen-X is a team of AI sales agents that ask before sending when the chat is in Draft Mode. If you start a task from Slack or WhatsApp, the approval request arrives there, and you answer with a reply or a thumbs-up reaction.
How do I approve an AI agent's email in Slack?
Reply in the Slack thread with "send it", or ask for a change such as "yes, but shorten the subject", and the agent sends the version you approved. You can also react to the request with a thumbs up to approve or a thumbs down to reject.
How do WhatsApp approvals work?
Link your WhatsApp to Gen-X, choose a group and what the agents may do there, and start a task with /genx. When an agent needs a yes, it sends the request to that chat. React to it, or reply quoting it with your answer. Only your own linked account can approve.
Which actions wait for approval?
Sending emails and LinkedIn messages, LinkedIn connection requests and comments, launching campaigns, booking or moving meetings, updating your CRM and enriching contacts. Publishing social posts, sending WhatsApp messages and changing ads are always asked one by one. Deleting is never automatic.
Can I approve a whole batch at once?
Yes. When an agent asks to send a batch, reply "do them all" and every item in that batch is approved.
Can I let the agents run without asking?
Each chat has an access mode. Read Only lets agents look but not change anything. Draft Mode makes them ask before anything goes out. Full Auto lets them act on their own. New chats start in Draft Mode.
